Pymatuning Lake Fest offers family fun along the lake

The Pymatuning State Park main beach area property (5354 Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover OH 44003), south of the Route 85 causeway, is the staging area for the large event featuring artisans and crafters, continuous entertainment both days, activities, inflatables and games, food concessions, a beauty pageant and contests for all ages.
“Families can come enjoy the festival events without spending a lot of money," Andover Chamber of Commerce President Pam Harting said. "Our Lake Fest has become one of the biggest and longest running festivals in the county. It draws upwards to 15,000 people over the two days.”
Musicians from northeast Ohio and Pennsylvania are among the stage performers.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, one big feature is the Little Miss Pymatuning pageant from 10:30 a.m. to noon. There will be a car show from 1-4 p.m. The car show features vintage historic cars, trucks and motorcycles on one part of the site coordinated by the Our Gang Family Car Club of Andover.
